Go to Sound panel Shortcut

Somtimes you have to adjust the balance settings and need to go to the sound panel. Normally you have to go throug the system preference settings.  With this shortcut its easy and fast.

Hold down the alt key and press 1 of the volume keys. For example alt+F10 or alt+F11 or alt+F12
Its handy to know this because it seems that with my macbook sometimes the balance is a bit off and i need to adjust it to the center.  Overal i still like the mac because its so user friendly.

How to start up your windows boot disk on a Mac?

If you have windows installed on a boot disk on a mac, then you need to restart your computer.
Right after the computer starts, hold down the Option key on the mac. If it doenst appear then let go off the Option key and immediately after that hold down the Option key again.
After this a screen with 2 boot disks icon appear. Choose the windows icon.

Close a window in Mac Shortcut

It will close up the window

Open new window in Mac Shortcut

cmd + N

it will open up a new window

Shutdown Shortcut

While holding down the turn off button,
a window shut down pallet will pop up.
